Vice-President Courtney Cole presented Savanah Medley, daughter of Michelle Simmons, the 2017 Senior Girl Scholarship of $300. Savanah is attending Pittsburg State University to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in legal issues.
She was active in Student Council, Natural Helpers, National Honor Society, C2000, SADD, and Academic Achievement for ACT over 21. She was also active in basketball and track and field. She served in leadership roles throughout high school and was recognized on the Clay County Honor Roll.
The ESBPW presented graduating senior Nicole Scott with a $300 scholarship during 2016. Nicole is planning to concentrate on a degree track in broadcast journalism.
